The Laser Studio
Teeth Whitening - The Combination Technique

This is the same clinical procedure you will find in most dentists. The combination technique is the best overall form of teeth-whitening as you get the boost of concentrated light procedure in clinic, and dental trays and solution are provided for homecare. Most salons these days offer one hour sessions with the laser. This will rarely produce satisfactory results for the client as one session can only brighten the teeth - not whiten. Also, you can only treat the first 4 or 5 teeth.

Most people strive for perfectly white teeth, but are unsure of the best action to take. This page will explain why the combination technique is the most effective.

Why use The Combination Technique?

The combination technique uses the boost of a one hour in-salon session, as well as professional trays and solution for homecare.

The professional trays are made by taking a dental impression of the teeth. These are a perfect mould of the teeth making the trays easy and comfortable to wear.

All solutions are hydrogen peroxide based, different percentages for different usages.

The solutions used are alkaline, leaving no damage to enamel or the thickness of teeth.

The solutions are anti-bacterial, and will dramatically aid in cleaning the teeth, not just whitening them.

Perfect trays treat every tooth, not just the front teeth. The solution is applied easily through syring like viles of solution.

Trays are used twice daily for 30-60 minutes at a time. The solutions must also be kept in a fridge.

The Combination Technique Procedure

All teeth whitening products at The Laser Studio start with a consultation and the procedure of taking the dental impression. One week later the intense light powered procedure will commence. This can take up to 90 - 150 minutes depending on the intensity of the stains on the teeth. This is a comfortable procedure and only a mild sensation is apparent. The client will then leave the salon and continue the treatment at home with the perfect trays.

If the teeth are dense, more solution may be required to meet the optimum whiteness.

Extra 20 days supply of solution is £45.00

This procedure allows for maintenance of whitening as more solutions can be purchased at any time in the future and gives an affordable upkeep of perfectly white teeth.

Dense teeth take longer to whiten as they have less pores. As a bonus they do not retain stains as easily as porous teeth, allowing whitening to last longer.

Porous teeth will whiten quicker, but obtain stains quicker also.

The required whiteness of the teeth is up to the client and how quickly you reach required target will depend on the stains and how porous the teeth are.

Teeth can be sensitive while undergoing treatments, so brushing with sensitive toothpaste is advised.
